Buda AF First Look Fête

Please join us for this exclusive opportunity to be the first to view and collect the Award-Winning Buda Plein Air Competition Artwork before it goes on exhibit for the general public in the Inspired Minds Gallery in October. Meet and mingle with artists and art enthusiasts while indulging in craft drinks and small bites at this private event in the Buda Welcome Center.

Sip fine wine from the Texas International Wine Competition and enjoy beverages from Blue Owl Brewing, Lone Pint Brewery, City Orchard Cider, Drink Weird Tea, and Richard's Rainwater.

In past years, the top prize-winning artwork from the Buda Plein Air Competition has been purchased at this event before it has been made available to the public.

This event is a fundraiser for Tandem Arts Partnership 501c3 whose mission is to enable social, emotional, and cultural well-being by providing access to the arts through targeted programs, community outreach, and financial assistance. TAP currently supports local non-profits including Buda's Brightside, Onion Creek Senior Center, Groundwork Music Project, and Joshua's Stage.

Youth Violin Solo by Liora Hong

Liora Hong fell in love with the violin ever since she was just a year old while watching and listening to Yanni concerts. She hopes to one day become a soloist, traveling the world bringing the gift of music wherever she goes. She admires many violinists including Itzak Perlman, Hilary Hahn, Ray Chen, Christian Li, and Jay of Layers Classic. She has been studying under Dr. Jan Davis since fall of 2019. She is currently concertmaster for the Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra and first chair at UT String Project Advanced Chamber Orchestra.

This event is closed to the public. First Look Fête Guests must bring proof of admission.
